Chentlen, of the 800 block of E. 17th was last seen the night of Nov. 1.

She was reported missing by her stepsister Dec. 16, Wilmington police spokeswoman Lt. Carol Senghaas said. After her disappearance, investigators sent police agencies along the East Coast a description of a distinctive tattoo the missing woman had on her left breast. The tattoo was inscribed with the name of the victim's daughter "Amariah," Senghaas said.

Philadelphia TV stations broadcast a drawing of Chentlen's tattoo Monday night, prompting the woman's mother to contact Wilmington detectives. "As the result of knowing her identity, it will accelerate our investigation and determine how and where she died," said Philadelphia Homicide Capt. James Brady, adding the homicide investigation is being conducted jointly with Wilmington police. Chentlen's body was discovered Feb. 20 lying in woods just off the Woodhaven Expressway.

Although her death been ruled a homicide, the Philadelphia County Medical Examiner's Office has been unable, to determine the cause of Brady said. The body of another woman was discovered in the same area early last month, leading investigators to believe the deaths might have been linked. The second victim has since been identified as Barbara Wallers, 30, who originally lived in the Elkton, area. Wallers, who moved to Philadelphia about eight months ago, had been missing three days before her body was discovered. Investigators said neither body showed signs of sexual assault.

With both victims identified, there appears to be no connection between the two women, Brady said. At the time of her disappearance, Chentlen was to be in New Castle County Court of Common Pleas on charges stemming from a July 16 home invasion near Bear. FREE ARRANGING!
